This is a sinitered real bronze which, once formed into a moulded shell is then filled with strengthened resin. This is an increasingly accepted art medium, less expensive than founded bronze, has made bronze fine art more widely affordable. The finish is permanent
and the appearance of the product is virtually indistinguishable from the traditional method.
Itneeds only a gentle dusting and the occasional application of wax to retain its lustre.

Very cute wren and shipped quickly. I do want to note that the cold cast bronze is a very light product that does not look or feel like real bronze, it is very obviously a resin piece in person. Since I’ve never seen or held cold cast bronze before I was expecting it to look and feel more like metal despite the mixed materials. It was not the type of product I was looking for, but I can’t fault the seller for that.
